This person will report directly into the SVP and Managing Director, EMEA and will interact with Executive Management, the U.S. based Corporate Marketing team and the international Sales organization to lead marketing initiatives throughout EMEA.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the implementation of revenue driving activities; drive high-value programmes for pipeline creation, customer satisfaction and partner collaboration.
- Create and execute a European press and analyst strategy to increase critical mind-share in target publications and with key influencers, establishing Opower as a leader in its space.
- Oversee EMEA field marketing in close cooperation with sales and product marketing, acting both strategically and at a ‘hands on’ level.
- Run Opower’s European Customer/Prospect Advisory Group Program and coordinate 3rd party user group participation.
- Work with U.S. based Product Marketing and Product teams to align product positioning, packaging, pricing, messaging and field readiness.
- Support the sales team (direct and indirect) with market insights, competitive analysis, tools and materials enhancing the sales cycles.
- Analyse and report on marketing performance and continuously prove the ROI of the marketing programs to sales and executive management.
About You
- You have a minimum of 5-7 years of proven demonstrable marketing experience working with industry and channel partners across the EMEA region in a b-to-b technology environment, preferably with exposure to SaaS or Cloud solutions.
- You are an adept negotiator and relationship builder internally and across our ecosystem of clients, prospects, business partners, and industry influencers.
- You are extremely capable of leveraging budgets and people where possible, for successful program execution will be vital.
- You have strong communication and analytical skills, being articulate and able to influence others through effective presentation and leadership,
- You are a strategic thinker who will have a long term vision that will inspire our EMEA team directly.
- You are detail-oriented, highly motivated, and results driven with win/win attitude and high energy levels.
